Emergence
A Spring Retreat for Rest, Clarity and Renewal

18th - 25th April 2026

Women's Yoga & Meditation Retreat,
18th - 25th April 2026

Step into spring with a sense of spaciousness and renewal.

Join Louise Rogers in the Alpujarra mountains of southern Spain for a week of mindfulness, movement, and calm reflection. This retreat offers time to pause and reconnect with what you need — to feel centred, nourished, and ready to explore new possibilities.

Each day balances mindful yoga, embodied meditation, and unhurried rest — inviting insight, focus, and ease. Together we’ll create space to listen inwardly, to move with awareness, and to reconnect with a quieter, steadier sense of joy.

Suitable for beginners or those looking to deepen practice. If you have any questions please contact Louise info@louiserogersyoga.co.uk

INTENTION

Spring invites renewal — not through striving, but through ease. During this retreat we’ll explore how evidence informed yoga and mindfulness can help you find that same inner alignment. In an increasingly hectic and chaotic world it’s easy to feel exhausted or overwhelmed. When we create inner space we are able to view the bigger picture with more clarity - becoming clearer on who we wish to be or what we want to create.

Through simple, grounded practices for body, heart and mind, you’ll learn to reset your nervous system, restore balance, and make space for joy to re-emerge naturally — not as something you chase, but something that unfolds when you create space for it. This is educational and inspirational, and journalling prompts will be offered to help you set meaningful intentions going forward. By the end you'll have a workable toolkit of yoga postures, breathing techniques, restorative practices and meditation tips to continue ongoing practice.

What to Expect

Morning practice - 90 minutes of mindful movement: a blend of alignment-based asana, somatic strength, and meditation — to help you feel centred, rooted, strong and awake in your body. These sessions are designed to support intelligent, functional movement, awaken vitality without strain and to encourage exploration, both in movement and in self-understanding.

Afternoons - invite rest, reflection and creativity. You might choose quiet time on the terrace, conversation, or a walk through the mountain paths. We'll also offer 3 optional group activities, such as a visit to a local olive-oil producer, a cookery class, or a guided walk in the hills, all designed to inspire and connect you with the richness of the local culture and landscape.

Late practice - 90 minutes of somatic movement, Restorative Yoga or mindfulness practices to support nervous-system ease and deep rest. They invite gentle introspection, before we come together for communal supper.

After supper you're welcome to have precious time alone, or enjoy casual conversation.

The retreat rhythm balances structure and spaciousness — giving you both freedom and gentle focus as you reconnect with your own clarity and direction. Do as much or as little as you wish.

The Setting

Las Chimeneas is a family-run retreat centre in the small village of Mairena, nestled in the Alpujarra mountains between Granada and the Mediterranean coast.

With stone-built houses, wide terraces, and panoramic views over olive groves and valleys, it’s a place that naturally invites stillness, presence, and inspiration.

Meals are prepared with care from fresh, seasonal ingredients, shared around a long table in the warmth of community.

This daily rhythm of eating well, moving mindfully, and resting deeply allows body and mind to find balance — creating space for renewal and inspiration.

The stillness of the landscape naturally invites you to slow down — to listen, breathe, and soften back into presence.

About Louise

Louise has been a dedicated student and practitioner of yoga and meditation for over 30 years and has been teaching since 2011. Throughout her career, she has focused on supporting women through life’s many transitions—physical, emotional, and spiritual—in her roles as teacher, doula, and mentor.

Her teaching encourages self-inquiry through cultivating self-trust and deeper awareness of one’s own perceptions and inherent wisdom. Motivated by a wish to help people enjoy their bodies and experience psychological and emotional wellbeing, she keeps her teaching points relatable—dispelling myths where needed and making practice accessible to all. She understands the importance of tending to past experiences with care and compassion as an essential part of healing. Believing in the power of community, her classes are inclusive, welcoming, and grounded. Louise weaves spirituality, heart, and passion into her teaching, inspiring students to discover their own reasons for practice.

Louise’s teaching integrates embodied movement, mindfulness, and grounded spirituality. She is trained in multiple yoga and somatic disciplines, including experiential anatomy, somatic strength, menopause yoga and Restorative Yoga, and is a graduate of the two year Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Programme with world renowned teachers Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield. She has taught in diverse settings and currently facilitates mindfulness programs for those affected by cancer, focusing on resilience, compassion, and nervous system regulation.

Louise lives in Surrey, UK, with her husband and dog, and is mother to two young adult sons and two step-sons. She spends as much time outdoors as possible and loves hiking, exploring, cooking, music and meaningful connection.
