The postnatal period is a very special time for mothers and babies, full of great change and adjustment. Yoga can help to provide much needed support, and promote physical and emotional stability. Babies are welcome at the classes – practices for mothers are designed to re-energize, strengthen the body and promote relaxation, integrated with singing and movement for the babies. Classes are nurturing and supportive, friendly and relaxed and encourage improvisation and play.

Suitable for mums with babies from 6-10 weeks old (after postnatal check) to crawling babies.   Open to all women, yoga beginners or more experienced.

I am also a postnatal doula, and provide support for women throughout  pregnancy, labour and birth and the postnatal period.   I will provide emotional, practical and informational support to help you have the most positive experience of birth and mothering.

"I have been going to Louise's mum & baby yoga with my little boy since he was two months has been the highlight of both our week's! Louise's calm presence and nurturing approach help me to be kinder to myself and go at my own pace, something I take with me into the week, not just with the yoga moves themselves. My little boy also loves the atmosphere, baby songs and activities, and we always leave feeling calm and contented. I can highly recommend this class and only wish I'd known about it before!"  Emma
